How WPResidence runs a real estate website in several languages and currencies: translation, right-to-left layouts, currency switching and multilingual SEO.

Yes. WPResidence is a real estate WordPress theme that comes with WPEstate Translate, a multilingual plugin we built for WPResidence and include with every license. Each listing gets a linked copy in every language with the same price, each language gets its own web address with hreflang tags, and search shows visitors the listings in their language. The theme also supports right-to-left layouts for Arabic and Hebrew and lets visitors switch currency.
Yes. Every word the theme shows visitors, from "Price" and "Bedrooms" to search prompts, buttons and dashboard messages, can be translated. WPResidence ships with translation files for 40+ languages, including Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Chinese.
To change the wording of a translation, edit the language file with Loco Translate inside the WordPress admin, or with Poedit on your computer. These tools edit the wording of one language; to run the site in several languages at once, you add a multilingual plugin.
WPEstate Translate is the multilingual plugin we built for WPResidence, and it comes with every license. It handles the parts a property site needs:
To start, install WPEstate Translate from the theme's plugin list, add your languages, choose the default language, then translate listings and pages by hand or with OpenAI. See multi-languages with WPEstate Translate for the setup.
If your team already uses WPML or Weglot, both work with WPResidence, and WPResidence includes the WPML configuration files. Polylang works with the theme's language dropdown.
Search and filters show only listings in the visitor's language, including the search tabs and the results that update as visitors filter. Category and city names show in the visitor's language too, so "Apartment" shows as "Appartement" on the French site.
For each listing detail you choose whether it is translated, such as the description, or copied to every language, such as the price.
The submit form and user dashboard show their labels in the visitor's language, so agents add listings in their own language.
Yes. When a page is in a right-to-left language such as Arabic or Hebrew, WPResidence loads its right-to-left stylesheet, and menus, property cards, search forms and the user dashboard mirror automatically.
On a site with English and Arabic, each page follows the language the visitor picks. The RTL demo shows a full Arabic site.
Currency is a separate switcher from language: a German-speaking visitor can read the site in German and see prices in US dollars.
Each listing has one price in your main currency. Visitors pick another currency from a dropdown, and WPResidence converts the price for display, so you keep one price per listing.
You list the currencies in Theme Options with their symbol and their rate against your main currency. Turn on daily exchange rate updates with a Currencylayer API key, or keep the rates you set by hand. Add the dropdown with the Multiple Currency widget or the Currency Dropdown widget in the Elementor header. See multi-currency support and how multi-currency works.
If you use a page cache plugin, keep the currency cookies out of the cache so each visitor sees the currency they picked; see cache plugins and the currency dropdown.
In Theme Options you set the price format for your market: currency symbol before or after the price, thousands separator, decimal separator and number of decimals. The Indian format shows prices in lakhs and crores, such as 15,00,000.
Property and lot sizes use square feet, square meters, acres, square yards or hectares. With the measurement unit dropdown, visitors switch units and the sizes convert. Radius search uses miles or kilometers.
One site can serve several offices. Each office is an agency account with its own profile page, agents and listings, and each agent manages their listings from a front-end dashboard. See multi-office real estate websites.
MLSImport (sold separately) can import MLS listings by office ID, so each import brings in one office's listings.
Every inquiry, in any language, is saved in the WPEstate CRM and emailed to the listing's agent. If your team uses HubSpot, leads sync there too.
Each language adds its own copy of each page, and the currency dropdown only changes how prices display, so page speed depends on your hosting and cache as on any WordPress site. See performance and hosting.
The address, hreflang and canonical tags of each language work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math. Switching currency keeps the same address, so Google sees one page per language. With WPResidence Studio you can design separate pages per city, such as "Apartments in Berlin". More in real estate website SEO.
For an international site, the main difference is the multilingual plugin: WPResidence includes WPEstate Translate, while Houzez uses WPML or Polylang and RealHomes uses WPML, bought separately. All three show prices in other currencies. See our WPResidence vs Houzez and WPResidence vs RealHomes comparisons for the full detail.

Launch your main language first. Import your current listings, from a CSV or XML file with WP All Import or from your MLS with MLSImport, then add the other languages. Keep your old URLs working with 301 redirects so your Google rankings carry over.
WPResidence costs $49 a year for one website, $99 for three and $249 for ten, with a year of updates and support, and the site keeps working when the license ends. See pricing.
WPEstate Translate is free. WPML is a paid plugin, automatic translation with OpenAI is billed by OpenAI, and hosting is a monthly cost.
One multilingual site suits an agency whose buyers come from several countries or pay in several currencies: listings, agents and leads stay in one place. If nearly all your buyers speak one language and pay in one currency, one language and one currency keep the site simple.
Someone on your team still checks translation quality and tests search in each language. Separate sites suit markets that need different branding, legal text or content, and each separate domain needs its own license.
The main points of this page.
Search fields, listing details, buttons and dashboard texts all translate, with language files included for the main languages.
Our multilingual plugin, included with WPResidence, links listing copies per language, keeps prices in sync and adds hreflang tags.
Arabic and Hebrew pages flip the whole layout, and English and Arabic run on one site.
Each listing has one price. Visitors switch currency, with daily rates or rates you set.
Each language has its own address with hreflang and canonical tags, and they work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math.

Yes. WPEstate Translate, our multilingual plugin built for WPResidence, comes with every license. You install it from the theme's plugin list.
Yes. WPEstate Translate uses OpenAI to translate listings and pages, one by one or in batches. OpenAI bills its usage separately.
With WPEstate Translate, each language gets its own folder, such as /fr/, and the main language keeps the plain address. WPML also offers subdomains or separate domains, and each separate domain needs its own WPResidence license.
Switching currency keeps the page address the same, so search engines see one page per language. Each language's own address and hreflang tags come from the multilingual plugin.
One license covers every language on one domain. Languages on separate domains or separate WordPress installs each need their own license.
Currency conversion is a calculation on the stored price, and each language adds its own copy of the pages. Speed depends on hosting and caching, as on any WordPress site.
Yes. WPML and Weglot both work with WPResidence, and the theme includes the WPML configuration files. Both are bought separately, while WPEstate Translate is included.
